Ledgewood Pty Ltd., trading as Tarca Homes, was established in 1977 by the Tarca family.
In an industry where so many cut corners, Phil Tarca, his father, and his brother were determined to start a business which focused on doing things the right way. The result is a company motivated by excellent workmanship, holistic project management, and a relationship-driven approach — all backed by genuine experience and honest qualifications.

Phil Tarca | Registered Builder & Director
At age 21, Phil achieved his Builders Registration by tertiary examination — he was one of the youngest students to do so. Soon after, he also completed his Diploma of Building.
As a fully registered builder, Phil operates in all areas of construction and personally oversees every project. His attention to detail and thorough organisation ensures developments run on time and on budget. With a transparent approach to management, Phil actively updates clients as the job progresses and welcomes feedback throughout the process.
Phil’s people-focused mentality means that, although he expects the highest standard from his tradespeople, he’s always onsite encouraging his team. He enjoys collaborating with clients, thrives on a challenge, and will always find a way to get things done to achieve clients’ goals.
Mirka Tarca | Director
Working alongside Phil, Mirka assists with all contract administration and running of Tarca Homes. She has extensive property knowledge and has been in the industry for over 30 years. Mirka’s big-picture, start-to-finish approach means she brings added insight. She prides herself on friendly, open, clear communication, and is passionate about providing positive experiences, as well as great outcomes.
